About Crystal Lawson

I'm a Registered Nurse with four years of experience, currently working at Fresenius Medical Care. I began my career as an In-Center Hemodialysis Nurse and have recently completed training in Peritoneal Dialysis as I transition into the Home Therapy department. I’m passionate about providing patient-centered care and helping individuals manage their treatment in the comfort of their own homes. I earned my BSN from Concordia University, St. Paul, and hold active BLS certification. Before becoming a nurse, I spent over a decade as a licensed cosmetologist. That experience gave me a solid foundation in customer service and communication, especially with diverse populations. I’ve carried those people skills into my nursing practice, especially the ability to build trust quickly, listen deeply, and connect with patients on a personal level. I’m excited to continue growing in the field of dialysis and home therapies, and to be part of a team that supports patients through education, empowerment, and compassionate care.
