About Crystal Mann

I am a graduate from Auburn University at Montgomery. Through my time in college, and in the work field, I have developed a passion for community development. During my long term work in the service industry I developed an ability to have successful interpersonal relationships with diverse individuals, became accustomed to working long hours, and gained significant experience in cash handling and sales increasing tactics. I have developed a natural ability to communicate company expectations to new employees, and am accustomed to being in leadership/training positions with the responsibility of meeting specific workplace and sales goals. I was recently the Senior Retail/Admissions Manager at the Montgomery Zoo. I am responsible for the hiring and training of employees, overseeing every day responsibilities, innovating current best practices, participating in several fundraising events for the Zoo, and attending annual trade shows to make connections with vendors and stakeholders. In addition, I am the head Buyer for the gift shop. I am responsible for tracking and spending a large budget to keep the gift shop stocked, and for ensuring that the types of products sold are constantly changing to meet the demands of our market. My professional values include honesty, accountability, teamwork, integrity, and self-discipline.
