About Crystal McDougle

I am an incoming PhD student in Social Work at Howard University and founder of a business focused on social practice art -blurring the boundaries between artists and audience. This work involves collaborative creative projects that build community connection, agency, and social sustainability, with mental health as a key focus. I partner with artists, athletes, and communities to spark dialogue, build relationships, and support lasting social impact. Additionally, I lead a liberation-based mental health practice that supports BIPOC athletes and creatives, with a special emphasis on Black and Brown communities. Through culturally responsive, justice-oriented care, I center imagination, collaboration, and lived experience to help co-create equitable and sustainable communities.
