As the Associate Clinic Director at Father Joe's Villages, I oversee and manage the daily operations and revenue cycle of a large Southern California homeless service organization that provides quality healthcare to the underserved population. I have been in this role for 5.5+ years, and I have 30+ years of experience in the healthcare field, working in various roles and settings.My core competencies include medical billing and coding, authorizations, medical records, referrals, credentialing, enrollment and outreach, scheduling, and administrative supervision. I am experienced with co-chairing a peer group, facilitating meetings, organizing and conducting trainings, and preparing for federal and state audits and annual reporting. I have used various EHR systems, such as Medical Manager, Meditech, Allscripts, NextGen, Athenahealth, and OCHIN EPIC. My mission is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services to patients, while maintaining compliance and maximizing revenue.
