About Crystal Peloquin
My name is Crystal Peloquin. I am an American Sign Language-English Interpreter, serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in Rochester for the last nine years. My expertise is in providing linguistic and cross-cultural mediation/facilitation in post-secondary educational settings as well as in the video relay service industry. I graduated with my Bachelors in American Sign Language-English Interpretation with a minor in Deaf Studies in 2013 and went on to complete my Masters in Professional Studies with concentrations in Communication and Media Technology, Human Resource Development, and Secondary Education for Persons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in 2016. I currently work for Sorenson Communications as a Video Interpreter and am pursuing National Interpreter Certification with the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. Outside of work, I have been married to my college sweetheart for eleven years, and we have two children and two cats together. I love anything Disney and have been to Disney World over twenty times in my lifetime. I also enjoy going on hikes and bird watching.
