About Crystal Pernell

I am currently a Business and Computer Information Systems student with Sacramento City College to further my education and skills. I have many years of experience in education and administration. My experience started with working as a student assistant systems analyst with the Department of Consumer Affairs from 2013 to 2015. With DCA I performed administrative, research, and technical duties daily, including record keeping and field work. From 2013-2020, I have worked in education for the city of Natomas, San Juan, and Elk Grove as both Instructional Assistant as well as a Behavioral Therapist. I have always enjoyed working with children, so outside of the campus, I currently work part-time in health as a respite care provider with United Cerebral Palsy (UCP). As a respite care provider, I work to ensure the success of children with a variety of disabilities. At my latest job with Horizon Collective, I worked for nearly two years as an Office Manager in which I handled everything pertaining to the office including managing files, record keeping, and operating office equipment (computers, printers, scanners, laminators, etc.). I take pride in the fact that I work hard both individually and alongside a team to complete a daily goal. I work hard to ensure success in every project I take part in.
