Day to day test cell support · Working with 3 technicians · Replacing/fixing failed parts in test cells (dynameters (dyno), pumps, heat exchangers, valves, etc.) · Weekly test cell Preventative Maintenance (PM)(dynos, load banks, alternators, water towers, air handlers, acclimators, ventilation fans) · Organizing downtime and work needed completed · Ordering emergency parts needed • Working with contractors · Replacing/fixing failed parts in test cells (grating, coolant tanks, valves, heat exchangers, hoists, etc.) · PMs (load banks, switchgears, transformers, drives, motors, fire suppression systems, gas detecting sensors, fall protection checks, etc.) • Completed Multiple Capital Projects · Worked with engineering firm to get designs, contacted contractors to bid the projects, and oversaw the work being performed on all capital projects · Cold Cell Project – worked with supplier to build an adequate offsite cold testing cell; ordered and organized $1.5M worth of equipment for cold testing; and worked with supplier, technicians, and contractors to get the cell running · Upgrade and standardize 7 heat exchangers across Seymour Tech Center (STC) · Purchase new equipment and large spare parts (Load Bank, Alternator, Heat Exchanger, Dyno outlet valve, Delta Pressure control valve, drivelines, couplings) · Up fitted test cells with fall protection · Added capabilities to test cells (Lube Oil to test cells, Glycol to test cells, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to test cells, DEF measuring panels, comfort air handler) • Kizan Project on efficient warehouse layout · Cleaned up warehouse; organized equipment for auction · Worked with materials and technicians to determine best layout for warehouse storage · Helped implement layout • 6 Sigma Projects: heat exchangers maintenance and fan vibration analysis installation • Worked with website designers to create and implement PM website and a Calibration Schedule that is linked to the PM website · Identified necessary PMs, created procedures, implemented they into Maximo · Maximo was too complex for what was needed; worked with website designers to create a PM website, key performance indicator (KPI), and link to other departments calibrations · KPI was dependent on other departments; worked with website designers to create a calibration schedule that linked to each department’s calibrations and PMs · Set-up, procured, and implemented spare part program including a bar code scanner
