My diverse background allows me to efficiently plan and integrate multiple discipline leads to find solutions for transportation, stormwater, urban riverfronts and greenspace, source water supply, and floodplain management. I excel in leading projects from conceptualization to completion because I understand the multiple components involved, including coordination between clients, stakeholders, funding mechanisms, regulatory requirements, engineering and design processes, and construction feasibility. I am proficient in Environmental Planning and Permitting, AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, Bridge Aquatic Design, Natural Channel Design, and Process-Based Design. My professional goal is to develop solutions that build watershed health and climate resiliency while sustaining dynamic environmental and social needs. I provide technical leadership through scoping, budgeting, and work plans. My success is largely due to my ability to see the big picture clearly, understand client needs, and develop winning concepts. This is paired with my ability to coordinate with stakeholders to align multi-perspective views and deliver high-quality visual renderings, clearly portrayed plans, and written deliverables. I also understand funding mechanisms and how to develop public-private partnerships. I mentor staff in field data collection, analysis, technical writing, permit requirements, and Civil 3D design work. I specialize in evaluating sediment sources, erosion, non-point source pollution and source water protection, fluvial hazard assessments and floodplain management, stream functional assessments, and natural channel design.
