About Cuiting Valli

I am a people-oriented engineer with experience and skills in- sales and CRM activities related to industrial projects - language and cultural translation between Chinese and Finnish - Innovation and analytical skills I immigrated from China to Finland over 15 years ago. Being a native level speaker in Finnish and Chinese including Mandarin and Cantonese, I am capable of translating between languages and also interpreting cultural differences. These skills have often been useful throughout my career. I graduated from Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) with a bachelor’s degree in Bioproduct and Process Engineering. Currently I am completing my master’s degree in Circular Economy (Environmental Technology) at Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (LUT). I have worked in paper and pulp industry as a label machine operator and as a sales/project coordinator, where I was responsible for assisting in various communication activities towards employers, suppliers, and stakeholders. Language skills, cultural knowledge, good communication skills and varied work experience make me an excellent team player, and my product development projects (Wood U Make It Happen -student competition 2018) showcase my abilities and passion for the field.
