Skilled accountant with over 30 years experience across a broad range of industries and responsibilities. Have been responsible for full range of accounting functions from journal entries and reconciliations to financial statement preparation, AP/AR, regulatory filing and audit preparation and disposition. Have maintained banking relationships and been responsible for electronic disbursements and treasury functions. Also adaptable to non-accounting functions. Have been responsible for clearing publishing and recording licenses for a record label and was part of a team building an in-house royalty reporting system. Spent the previous ten years as part of a team of two people in charge of the entire accounting/finance function for a 30 million dollar a year, 80 employee broker/dealer investment bank. I value learning – both about new industries, and about new lines of business within a familiar industry. I enjoy using my skills as a communicator and an analytical thinker. I love New York City…the energy, the crowds, the art, the people. I am a transplant via the Desert Mountain West, Southern California and the Pacific Northwest. These places and the people I’ve met along the way inform my outlook and my values.
