An experienced health, safety, and security professional with a demonstrated history of managing, developing, and implementing safety programs and related training in the construction, general industry, and telecommunications sectors. Responsible for the oversight of the company’s processes and best practices that support safety excellence at FTC in addition to coordinating all aspects of risk management and business insurance. This includes an in-depth knowledge of general liability, auto insurance, and workers compensation management. Successfully developed and implemented risk management programs and processes that ensures company efficiency, productivity, and cost savings by minimizing losses. A successful track record of decreasing employer critical safety metrics such as EMR, TRIR, and DART. A highly effective instructor to include, but not limited to: OSHA Authorized Instructor for General Industry and Construction (10/30), Trenching and Shoring, Fall Protection, Permit Required Confined Spaces, NSC Flagger, Work Zones, and Forklift Operator. Qualified as an expert witness in state and federal court in addition to being an invited guest speaker and panelist at safety and insurance conferences. Graduated with a BS in Business Management from the University of South Carolina and currently pursuing a Masters in Occupational Safety and Health from Georgia Tech.
