37 1/2 years in banking, retired. Diverse experiences in credit and debit card operations, payments, project management, product development, retail banking and sales, business development, call center operations, digital and mobile banking, and general IT management. I’ve been fortunate to work with customers and build strong relationships for future business development, strong customer servicing, and drive business revenue and profitability. Good sense of expense management to get to the bottom line and being results oriented through team building. Past 4 years as State Comptroller and Director of Accounting and General Services. Oversaw operations for the State's accounting and payroll systems, public works, enterprise technology services, risk management, land survey, central services, archives, internal audit, and provided administrative support for several attached agencies. I’ve also lead large teams in developing new products and services as well as leading implementations of new technology solutions both in house and using third party partners. Enjoy developing people and giving them opportunities to succeed in life and their professional careers. I’ve enjoyed serving the community through various non- profit organizations serving on boards and leading boards as chairman and president positions. Family oriented with strong values to do the right thing, taking care of people and customers as if they are family. Currently, appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Operations, Department of Education.
