JOB SUMMARY:To lead, support and coordinate a division’s operational (non-manufacturing) plan within the assigned division that supports the division strategic plan.􀂃 Assist in defining service and cost performance targets and manage allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of local teams to achieve objectives.􀂃 Lead service and operational cost management improvement activities to meet day-to-day service performance requirements through regular visits to locations and customer sites.􀂃 Ensure implementation of operational procedures and initiatives within the agreed scheduling and budgetary guidelines.􀂃 Support sales initiatives with operational expertise and resources to provide cost analysis, implement new product or services and improve operations practices that meet customer needs.􀂃 Manage the relationship with other support functions, including IT, HR, Risk, Safety, Accounting, Tech, Asset Management, to ensure commitment to achievement of agreed business and functional objectives.􀂃 Lead and maintain a high level of awareness, preparation and reaction to safety and security-related risks as well as regulatory compliance.􀂃 Ensure that the team is provided with clear direction and performance standards and is staffed, trained and motivated to meet set goals.􀂃 Complete performance assessments regularly for direct reports to manage individual performance and career goals. Plan and take part in annual reviews of the team to manage career movements.Specialties: • Current knowledge of and ability to apply knowledge of AFT, OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and various employment law.( Explosive/Mining Industry)• Proven excellent reporting, written communications and group presentations.• Latest computer technology and software packages (Infinium, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
