About Curtis Brown

Proud co-leader of one of Canada's best public opinion research practices. Every day I work with public, private and not-for-profit sector clients to help them navigate their main marketing, communications and policy-related challenges. I help them quickly get to the 'why' of these issues, using a broad array of quantitative and qualitative research techniques to uncover the most actionable and strategic insights and help share the main research story with their key audiences. My deep experience in public opinion research and my previous background in journalism makes me ideally suited to dig into what people really think. After 15 years, I've moderated more than 300 online and in-person focus groups throughout North America and conducted several hundred in-depth interviews with all kinds of people. My clients recognize and admire my professionalism, my creativity, my unflappability (I don't crack, no matter how weird of a comment a participant makes)- and most importantly, my ability to get to the point of how people perceive any issue and why they feel that way. I'm a proud Manitoban with a national perspective honed from working and living in three different provinces and doing work from coast to coast to coast. I'm frequently available as a media commentator on elections and important provincial and national public policy issues.
