Curtis has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. His 10+ years of architectural experience encompass low- to mid-rise, multi-story hotel complexes; office and financial buildings; health care centers; community and regional shopping centers; corporate world headquarters and industrial complexes. Curtis gained his experience working for three of the most successful Small Business Administration-certified construction companies in the nation that specialize in DoD, federal and state multi-year, design/build contracts. Curtis’ extensive architectural and managerial experience includes positions of increasing responsibility. Curtis began his career as an architect, project engineer and general manager before advancing to the executive positions of Vice President of Operations and Design, President of Operations, Director of Operations and Design, Director of Business Operations and President. Curtis brings a unique understanding of both the architectural profession and the DoD and federal design/build contractors’ environment, combining his experience of the two worlds into a service that is unparalleled. In 2018 - 2019, due to his RSMeans estimating experience, he was engaged as an expert RSMeans estimating witness in a legal dispute between an IDIQ prime contractor and the US government involving line-item estimating. 2020-2024, due to his IDIQ JOC/SABER coefficient experience he was a presenter at the National Center for JOC Excellence ("CJE") convention and CJE JOC Training seminar where Curtis gave a class on generating coefficients.
