About Curtis Graves

A wise man once said,"The man with no shoes complained until he met the man with no feet." At the tender age of 10, I learned a valuable lesson after witnessing a homeless man sleeping on the porch of the run-down apartment I lived in: perspective is everything. From this experience alone, I became even more appreciative of everything I was blessed with in my life, no matter how minor or insignificant these things may have seemed at the time. Throughout my childhood, I dedicated myself to serving my community and became even more driven to work as hard as I possibly could, not only to improve my family's living conditions, but to place myself in a position to help other families do the same. I believe my purpose is to lead and inspire. Every step of my journey has been taken with the intention to do just that. Through my time as a college football player at Vanderbilt University, to my opportunity to earn my master's in management from the Kellogg School of Management, to my current experience with Capital One, I've allowed my light and my voice to shine.I currently serve the community of Oak Cliff in Dallas, TX, and I'm looking to extend my network to professionals across all industries to broaden my impact.
