About Curtis Jones

I am a graduate from the University of Portland where I received a bachelors of science in Civil Engineering. During school, I was part of the CECOP internship program where I gained experience in construction oversight and water resources projects with AECOM. I now work for AECOM as an EIT in the Hydraulics and Hydrology/Water Resources department. I have project experience in hydraulic modeling, fish passage design, stream restoration, flood analysis, stormwater and more. I am passionate about rivers and the ecosystems they support. As a fly fisherman, I spend a lot of time chasing native salmonids and immersed in the habitats they call home. From high desert to rainforest rivers, my passion for rivers and wild fish is what drives my passion for river restoration. I am also an artist, illustrating in detail the fish I catch and release, and painting landscapes from my adventures.
