As a human services professional, I taught Speech and Communication at the university level for six years; facilitated adult education classes in personal growth and human relations; worked in private practice in marriage and family counseling; and served as a pastoral counselor for a large rural church. I have a ridiculously varied employment record. After serving 4 years in the Air Force, I owned and operated a high-end van conversion business called Highway to Heaven. I've been manager for a gourmet/coffee retail shop; a graphic designer; a secretary for a YMCA; a systems director for a women’s shoe importer. In one incarnation, I earned a California Real Estate license and sold timeshares San Diego, CA. After leaving teaching, I owned and operated a bed and breakfast in Ashland, OR. I currently have a small b&b in Jacksonville, Oregon and offer hospitality and enlightenment to my guests. I've written numerous award-winning scholarly papers and made many presentations at workshops and conventions. In addition to scholarly papers, my freelance writing has appeared in many popular periodicals, from Van Life and Family Trucking to High Times. I have also written three screenplays, two of which were optioned by Hollywood, and a stage play awaiting production. My books include a science fiction novel called "Reality Crash," and a Theory-of-Everything called "A Simple Explanation of Absolutely Everything." My Gnostic books include "The Gnostic Gospel Illuminated," and "A Simple Explanation of the Gnostic Gospel of the Tripartite Tractate." Books may be purchased anywhere.
