Background

About Cydney W.

My name is Cydney Worsfold, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist -(Qualifying) with the CRPO completing my internship at Ottawa Art Therapy Inc. I am near completion of my Master's in Counselling Psychology and have a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. I have worked with populations struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, burn-out, difficulties adjusting to life changes, and ASD. I firmly believe that therapy should be accessible to all, and finances should not be what keeps an individual from receiving the mental health care they need and deserve. I practice through a cognitive-behavioural person-centred approach, and I meet the client exactly where they are at in their journey. I believe that we all have the answers within us, but sometimes we need a little bit of extra support to re-discover what those answers might be. I am an empathetic, warm, kind, and dedicated professional who consistently provides a safe environment for my clients to feel comfortable. I hope to continue providing therapy for those in need and continue furthering my own education in regard to therapeutic modalities and the research supporting these modalities. In the future, I aim to become further certified in EMDR and DBT.
