About Cyndra Scheu

Hello, my name is Cyndra Scheu. I have been a nurse since July of 2009. I originally graduated from Pima Community College with my Associates Degree in Nursing. I later went on to get my Masters in Nursing Leadership from The University of Arizona in December of 2014. I started my career as a new graduate nurse in the emergency room at what is now called Medical Center South Campus. I worked in the ER from July of 2009 to February of 2016. From June of 2014 to July of 2015 I worked in the ER as a Clinical Research Nurse with The University of Arizona's Emergency Medicine Research Center. In February of this year I decided to leave the emergency room and transferred into Case Management. As a Case Manager I have expanded my knowledge as a health care team member and have a better understanding of health care and the various transitions our patients go through throughout their illness, hospital stay and as they transition back into the community. Currently I am working as a Case Manager for Banner-University Medical Center and as a Cath Lab Recovery Nurse for Tucson Medical Center. I am most passionate about emergency medicine, critical care nursing and research.
