MY EXPERIENCE History & Culture Director leveraging 17+ years of experience to advance history and culture work including developing and managing a robust programming portfolio. Passionate about supporting philanthropy efforts to secure funding including identifying and growing donor pipeline and cultivating relationship with existing donors. Black History & Culture Ambassador to strengthen the identity and reputation of an organization committed to the creation and protection of sites of significance to Black history and culture. Partnered and worked closely with local archives to arrange and present the 1st African American Genealogy Program as well as the 1st African American Genealogy Conference in Austin, Texas. Significantly increased visitation 68% at the George Washington Carver, Cultural & Genealogy Center by conceiving and creating the 1st large scale African American History exhibit.
