I have been working in the health care finance industry for over 10 years. During my time working in the patient financial services department I have helped the finance department to reduce the outstanding aging receivable for the targeted hospital areas assigned to me. I have also helped to establish multiple new relationships with contacts within the insurance industry though relationships I have built over the years of working with different insurance companies. I have a proven track record of submitting financial appeals to insurance companies with successful results. I currently enrolled with the AAPC taking classes to become a certified in CPC-H, to be completed August 2015. Qualifications Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Organized troubleshooter. Multitasked individual will knowledge of Medicare Part A&B. Great ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Can work in a team or individual setting. I have strategic Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, AS400, Oracle, Access, Centerview, Adobe, Microsoft Office, laserfiche and the following billing systems, FISS Medicare system, Meditech, Keane Charge Capture, Keane Optimum, Vista Keane, KNS, Sunrise,EPIC,TAP, OCULAB for testing results, ORMIS, IDX, and DataMart/CCUB for financial reports. I utilize Excel and access to create maintain databases for financial and billing analysis.
