About Cynthia King

After graduating from University of Redlands with a degree in International Relations in 2023, I began an internship with Interactive Brokers in their London office. In the fall of 2023, I continued the internship at the company’s Greenwich, Connecticut headquarters. The human resources internship has leveraged my ability to learn technology quickly. I’ve been entrusted with digitizing employee records utilizing ADP and ServiceNow – by the end of the internship in early 2024, I will have scanned more than documents. I’ve also been asked to create custom reports using Excel, which has honed my ability to organize and analyze large datasets. One such project involved processing responses from interns and their managers to help determine which interns will be offered full-time positions. I enjoy the challenge of getting everything a client wants into a custom report — and then presenting that information in such a way as to give them access to critical information more quickly. In earlier roles while in college, as well as my internship, I have exhibited strong customer service skills. The feedback I consistently receive is that I am personable, friendly, and helpful. These strengths, in combination with excellent written and verbal communication skills and maturity beyond my years, allow me to quickly become a valued resource for those with whom I work. When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the gym and having adventures in cities I’ve never been to before.
