About Cynthia Kumar

Working at the intersection of accounting, transformation and systems, I love solving problems with a focus on improving business processes, operations and strengthening relationships. Over my 15+ years of work experience I have served a diverse portfolio of clients in Canada and the United States. I enjoy providing clients and internal customers the best value and solutions to their business challenges. I am currently the Senior Manager of Consolidation and Systems for the ATCO group of companies. In this role I am responsible for leading the consolidation of almost 200 base entities into three IFRS reporting entities (2 public companies) and am also the FCCS system administrator. I also led the system implementation switching from HFM to FCCS as part of our EPM strategy. Both are Oracle products. I also have a CPHR designation. I pursued this designation as a side passion project in my past role as I was managing all aspects of our company CPA Program (at the time - 27 Candidates). I transitioned the program from post unification to include both the Pre-Approved Program Route and the Experience Verification Candidate into a larger program. I was also a Supervisor in our Internal Audit department, where I supervised and performed various audits across many functional and business areas (operations, financial, compliance).
