About Cynthia Kwon

The thing with LinkedIn, is that everyone is listed as a dedicated, motivated and hard-working professional. Of course they are. Why should prospective employers and colleagues think otherwise? I'm all that too.(Let's add passionate and creative for good measure) I'm also very honest and direct - my observation skills and ability to call things as they are is refreshingly awesome. I like learning about everything and figuring out solutions to real world problems. I can't tell you how to find world peace but I can tell you the best route to get to the PNE grounds at Hastings Park. I love meeting new people and exchanging stories although I'm the worst at re-telling them. Corny jokes on the other hand, I'm great at. If my workplace were a TV show, I would 100% be a series regular. I'm a mix of Gina from Brooklyn 99 and Jim from The Office. I can plan, coordinate and execute a multitude of events. Tell me what your event is and I can ensure our venue and services are in place to make it happen - I get things done. I oversee the oldest charity lottery in BC. Through strong contract negotiations, market trend expertise as well as relationship management with GPEB, sponsors and partners, our team builds a dream prize lineup that's beloved by British Columbians. I have an extensive background in the Food and Beverage industry - my skills and expertise in customer service, food concessions operations, health regulations, and project planning have started here. I also oversee the external food and retail program at the Fair - I'm your person if you got something new to feature at the Fair. I have an insatiable appetite for popular culture and keeping up to date with trends in my respective industry. Oh. and I also love zombies. Give me a shout.
