I’m an experienced international education leader and passionate student and immigrant supporter. Also, I have extensive experience with managing and supporting code of student conduct cases, including investigations. I’ve had great success with developing winning proposals, and leading diverse teams to deliver project results. About Me - I am an excellent project and program developer and planner who delivers winning proposals for government funding- I have successfully led teams to deliver complex programs and projects in a number of sectors, including international education, immigrant support, and agriculture- I have an extensive knowledge of immigration policy, pertaining to international education as well as other aspects such as economic immigration- I am familiar and experienced with all aspects of code of student conduct, including receiving complaints, conducting investigations and supporting stakeholders- I possess strong intercultural competency skills and am a certified Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) facilitator. Career Highlights - Led International Centre team to support more than 4,600 international students and exchange students – extensive knowledge of immigration policy and its impact on international students and their families as well as international student programming as well as developing international risk management processes- Led and supported Student Experience units, International Centre, Black Student Advising Centre, Indigenous Student Centre, Residence Life, and Student Life – committed to ensuring an optimal student experience- Managed Code of Student Conduct cases, including supporting students and other stakeholders as well as conducting investigations – applied educational and developmental approach to all aspects of code of student conduct- Led college Social Sciences team to deliver Corrections, Police Foundations, Human Services, Early Childhood Education, and Child and Youth Care programs – ensured that department delivered programs while sustaining industry partnerships- Coordinated and managed Canadian college activities and partnerships in Asia – supported colleges to recruit students and develop projects with international partners- Led international project team, based in 5 countries, to deliver pre-arrival supports to immigrants destined for Canada – included developing relevant workshop content and collaborating with key partners such as settlement agencies, government, employers and sectoral organizations.
