A learning and development (L&D) professional with wide-ranging expertise in the establishment, management and strategic oversight of an organisational development function across public and private sector organisations. I am renowned for transforming L&D from a purely reactive function to a value-adding service that driving the achievement of tangible results and championing change for almost 20 years. I have demonstrated success in creating training strategy, managing change and transition, planning for future needs and managing and meeting the high expectations of my stakeholders. I take particular pride in developing and implementing best practice programs based on proven adult education principles. With a firm understanding of Registered Training Organisation (RTO) compliance, capability frameworks and national industry standards, I routinely incorporate all of my knowledge to best position the learning and development space within an organisation and deliver innovative and cutting-edge training solutions. A hallmark of my achievements is my reputation. Across all the organisations I have worked, I have made a name for myself as a positive change agent, putting in place immediate and sustainable improvements always in close consultation with my clients. I am particularly passionate about my own learning and development and leadership and strive tirelessly to build and maintain engaged, motivated and high-performing teams. As a result of my efforts in this area, I have instilled a contemporary and proactive model of learning and development practice in my current role and coached and mentored my team to perform to the fullest of their capabilities – delivering quality, excellence and a superior organisational development service.
