About Cyrena Young

I am currently a fourth year student at The University of Iowa, majoring in management & finance. Business is very interesting to me because my family owns a hotel corporation, which I've worked at since the age of 14. Being around business ALL THE TIME, I know that there are few days off and have become accustomed to the non-stop nature of business. Due to the nature of my upbringing I strive to excel in everything that I do. At the age of sixteen I became the youngest second assistant manager at the Hy-vee property I was employed at and often had to prove that I was worthy of the position I held. I am a leader by nature and tend to take charge in most situations. It is important to me that everything I do is done without error and done effectively. Currently, a lot of my time is dedicated to school and work, as I'm a full-time student and work almost 40 hours a week because of this, time management is something that I excel at.
