Hi there! Thank you for reading my profile. I am available as contractor in the field of (IT) Governance & Control. Services include: Corporate Finance, Governance & Control, IT Audit & IT Governance, IFRS training & implementation, Internal Audit and Interim-Management. My prior experiences include managing as partner at Tjong A Hung Consulting and Tjong A Hung Accounting Services for more than 10 years. The passion, intense involvement and commitment to each assignment contribute in fundamental process improvements and sustainable solutions for your corporate challenges. Social engagement motivates me to be part of developments in our profession and industries involved. This includes: being a former Chairman of Suriname College of Accountancy (SCA), former Board member of the Surinamese Association of Chartered Accountants, former Board Member of the ICT Association Suriname. I also lecture in IT auditing at the University of Tilburg for the Dutch Chartered Accountant’s professional degree in Curacao and IT auditing for SCA. I was engaged in modernizing of Surinamese legislation, including the Electronic Transactions Act (2017) and the Financial Reporting Act (2017). Previously, I started the first five years of my career at Deloitte Amsterdam and additionally five years at Tjong A Hung Accountants N.V. as audit manager.
