About Cyrus Williams

Currently serving as a Professor for the School of Psychology and Counseling at Regent University. My career has been as is dedicated to both the academic aspect of higher education and providing support services to students throughout their academic career. While at Regent, I have served as a Professor and Record and have been apart of several dissertation committees. Courses I have taught include Orientation to Counseling online, Career & Lifestyle Development, Addictive behaviors, Counseling Skills & Techniques, Internship, Practicum, and Advanced Theories (online) for the Counselor Education and Supervision program. Special topics that I have developed and taught include Social Justice: Counselor as Advocate. I have a passion for and experience in Student and Community Services. While at the University of Florida Gainesville, I served as the Assistant Dean and Director for Student Judicial Affairs (2001-2005). The past three years have been dedicated to numerous initiatives including Homeless Ministry, volunteering for after school programs for young men, and mentoring and teaching the youth of Virginia Beach.
