I have been working on Novell's Business Operations team for Novell Technical Support for the past few years and have been involved in many major projects in the CRM, Telecom, and reporting work spaces. Our team has been recognized many times for outstanding achievements, and I was given the distinguished honor of being the “Employee of the Year” for the Business Operations department in 2006. I enjoy solving problems, and I especially love implementing and/or creating technology solutions to resolve business problems; When the technology doesn't exist, I enjoy building my own (such as a queue alerting program that I wrote while I was employed in Novell's Callcenter), and when the technology is finally available commercially then I am happy to move to that solution (such as Nexorce, from Spectrum, who implemented changes to their program for threshold alerting, based upon designs from my callcenter alerting program). As a member of Avaya's Callcenter and Reporting Advisory Council's we [Novell] have been key requesters of some of the greatest enhancements to Avaya's Callcenter software over the past few years: Variables in Vectors, Subroutines in Vectors and other enhancements that were requested by us, and then seconded by other companies, and finally implemented by Avaya. Changing and implementing technology to solve business problems is really one of my favorite things to do. Specialties: technology, using software or guiding programmers to implement or create technology to solve business issues.
