About Daan Dankers

As a master's student in Operations Management & Logistics at TU/e specializing in Smart Industry and AI, I'm passionate about finding better ways to make decisions in complex systems. What especially drives me is modelling, real-world problems such that they can be solved. Starting with a broad foundation across operations research, information systems, and human performance management, I have chosen to focus on the intersection of optimization, algorithms, and machine learning. I'm particularly drawn to deep learning, computer vision, and reinforcement learning. What excites me is how these techniques can tackle such a wide range of challenges, from the industrial applications I know well to entirely different domains. I value working with teams and leading projects to grow together. Always open to collaborating on interesting challenges!
