About Daan de Winter

I am an experienced content strategist, PR consultant, digital marketeer and SEO copywriter with a demonstrated history of working for B2B IT companies. I specialize in helping organizations improve their external communication channels. As a consultant, I've handled various high-profile such as SAP, KPN Security, KPN IoT, Mimecast and Signicat. After getting my Bachelor of Economics degree, I started my career as a journalist and producer at ANP, the Dutch national press agency. Seven years later I made the switch to Co-Workx, a PR agency which services a broad range of (international) technology companies. During my time there I've branched out from mainly being an IT copywriter to other fields such as content marketing, SEO, PR consultancy, data analysis, corporate strategy and social media. At House of low-code, a software development agency based in Rotterdam, I got the opportunity to further develop my online marketing skills. I was initially hired as content director, but after a couple of months I took over as marketing manager. I was responsible for the marketing strategy, which focused on a combination of SEO and SEA (Google Ads leadgen). I also handled all external communication, including partner marketing activities. In January 2024, I joined KPN Corporate Market as a marketing manager. After a great year working for the system integrator marketing team, I joined the G2M team as cybersecurity lead, combining this role with marketing activities for the financial services and insurance vertical teams. It's fantastic, and I'm loving every day at KPN! I have extensive knowledge of a wide range of technology topics such as enterprise IT, cybersecurity, software development and the Internet of Things. Thanks to my educational background I also have a deep understanding of business related topics such as HR, statistics, finance and economics. I would describe myself as a very skilled communicator with a passion for language and near-native English proficiency. I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you reach your business goals!
