About Daan Meester
The start-up phase of clinical trial is for me the most exciting phase in which leadership, teamwork, resilience and flexibility are key to activate site in the quickest timeline possible without losing quality and keeping clients and sites satisfied. I love the different phases within start-up, the continues evaluation and risk-analysis, adapting to changes impacting processes and timelines and the interaction with my international teams and colleagues around the world. Some background: My passion for clinical research started in 2009 during my masters in Biology for Human Peformance and Health. It elaborated during my PhD in Neuroscience and Rehabilitation. I moved to clinical in the industry and further developed my management of trials with a focus on start-up. Over the years I found my strength are teamwork, leadership in start-up and being flexible to changes in a project, management or company. I love working in an international environment.
