About Daan Sterken

With more than ten years of experience in hospitality and leadership, I focus on driving commercial growth, building long term partnerships, and strengthening brand positioning. I have worked with leading hospitality brands in Amsterdam, including Hotel V & The Lobby and Conscious Hotels, and today I hold a strategic role in the management team at Typhoon, a marketing agency where I lead the Hotels division. My background covers B2B sales, community engagement, and collaborations with cultural and corporate partners such as Amsterdam Fashion Week and ADE. I have also contributed to sustainability initiatives like Hotels for Trees and gained early experience in team leadership and banqueting sales. I thrive where brand development and commercial strategy come together. Known for a collaborative approach and a strategic mindset, I enjoy creating meaningful connections and lasting impact in the world of hospitality and lifestyle brands.
