I’m DVD, also known as Daan van Dam, a hands on, conceptual Senior Creative Director with over 13 years of experience building brands and managing creative departments, currently at We Are Pi. My background is in art direction and design with a drive for relevant and radical storytelling across all mediums and formats. Prior to We Are Pi, I was a Creative Director at R/GA Portland on the Nike Global account. I set up and ran R/GA PDX’ design studio consisting of art directors, writers, strategists and (experience) designers who closely collaborated with our clients from concept to execution on various editorial and experiencial projects. In my spare time I co-founded One Shot, the Russian roulette of photography. And Block, a fancy Faraday cage funded by T-Mobile.
