PROFILE My work consists of consultancy and change management or program management- It is often about complex situations and different stakeholders; usually a large amount of data and content is involved - Clients are the boards or directors of publishing houses, knowledge institutes, libraries, musea, etc. Their clients can be government departments, law firms, institutes a.o- Assignments in existing organisations, or rather as an interim for reorganisations or mergers and acquisitions (M&A)- I love Italy, and in my work I often use this metaphor: when I arrive the situation usually is spaghetti, and when I leave it is lasagna or cannelloni! ACTIVITITIES and SECTORS - Worked in permanent jobs and as a self-employed person, with experience in both MT and operational functions, both commercial, back-office and IT- In addition, strategy and concept development, by means of workshops, brainstorming sessions, etc- Long-term experience with the Dutch digitization market, the players, types of projects, quality delivered. Experience with both offshore (Asian) and Dutch suppliers. Projects in publishing, musea and libraries. MOTIVATION On the bare slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily you can find this beautiful plant in the lee of a rock (see image below); It is the Grassula Basaltica, which can only be found there. In my work I look for this kind of undiscovered treasures in organizations; in people, products and information. Then we get the best out of it together.
