About Daan Weenink

I am a hard-working, down to earth, pragmatic and most of all happy and positive professional that always smiles. I work well with all levels of an organization and enjoy interaction with and learning from people with different professions and cultures. I have a background in auditing (Big-4) before moving to the other side of the table. At Brunel International N.V. I gained a broad experience in IFRS, annual reports, budgeting / forecasting, consolidation, evaluating business cases, financial / business / commercial control and management reporting (to Board of Directors and Supervisory Board). A 3,5 year adventure in Asia helped me develop more outside of core finance and into a business partner, opening up new entities, working with clients, managing a large team with a different cultural background and being in a strategic role in a complex environment. Recently I re-joined our team in Asia as Director Group Finance & Control. In this role I will support our newly appointed CFO and drive several strategic initiatives aimed at driving efficiencies, maximizing the use of our data and leading the group finance team in Amsterdam.
