About Daanesh Umrigar

I am a Clinical Psychologist, with an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology, from the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi. My major areas of interest include, among others, Sexuality and Sexual Health, as well as Behaviour medicine. My major focus is on clinical Intervention and Psychotherapy, conducted on an OPD or IPD basis. I have Experience dealing with patients with disorders ranging from various Anxieties, Depression, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I have also worked extensively with individuals suffering from Sexual Dysfunctions, Either Primary, or secondary to other Medical Conditions. Besides, I have also worked with individuals suffering from various Neurological Disorders, and have worked in a team aiding their rehabilitation. I have also had experience in therapy for people with various Addictions. My experience also includes Children and adolescence, working through various Emotional disturbances as well as issues relating to ADHD and Learning Disabilities. I also have significant experience administering and interpreting various Psychological and Neuro-Psychological tests, including Tests of Intelligence, Learning Disabilities, Personality and Psycho-diagnostic assessments as well as various Neuro-Psychological Batteries.
