One year of clinical experience in a walk-in clinic plus 1 year of clinical rotations, including Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Telemedicine, Surgery, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, and others. Tailored my research and training to rural practice, psychiatric and mental health disorders, addiction medicine, and primary care. During rotations I treated severe schizophrenics, as well as adult, child, and adolescent outpatients for depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and PTSD. Completed the MAT waiver training. FEMA crisis management trained. Over 5 years of leadership, training, and managerial experience prior to attending PA school. 10+ years of experience as a volunteer working with individuals struggling with a broad variety of problems ranging from financial to psychological, drug abuse to physical abuse, and everything in between. Experience in root cause analysis, quality management, change management, and general business management.
