About Dadi Einarsson

Well educated and with various experience ranging from teaching, management over to health and IT policy and implementation. Have worked and been involved with formulation of policy and implementation both in Iceland and at the European level on health related issues such as HIV/AIDS in Europe, IT solutions in health care and scaling up activities to address various aspects of public response to issues of public concern and long term development of activities. Have taught students how to expand their knowledge of languages to further their professional skills and development. Been involved with IT in one form or another since 1995, most importantly from to 2003 when I was part of a small team coordinating the implementation of development of IT within the Icelandic Healthcare System. The work included identifying available information to use, what requirements to make to development of a new electronic patient records system, how to communicate information between institutions, what information to share, who could access what information, how to provide appropriate security of information and related issues. In addition I was part of a working group of Icelandic Ministries deciding on a system for Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) should be set up and I was in charge of websites of the Ministry of Health and Social Security. Since then I have been involved with number of websites, blogs, forums and other IT solutions. I am currently studying Software Engineering at Software University (SoftUni) in Sofia, Bulgaria with focus on Java programming with expected graduation in 2020. I have completed the technology basics module, Java Fundamentals (includes Java Programming and OOP), Java Database Fundamentals (includes MySql, Spring and other Database related frameworks and programming), Java Web (creation of Java applications using Spring Boot MVC) and JS Core (Javascript, including JS applications). Studying Front-End development, Linux System Administration and Computer Security (Networking and Ethical Hacking). Have been working as Linux System Administrator since June 2019.
