About Daeki Ahn

Currently I am a Dean's Honours list student, at the school of Software Support at Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology. I hold a Bachelor's degree in polymer engineering, and have 8 years of professional experience as a production technology engineer. During my tenure, I participated in numerous productivity improvement projects as team member and leader, requiring immense collaboration with my colleagues. As a detail oriented and collaborative Project Manager, my team and I ensured the implementation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in LX(Previously LG) Hausys flooring factory. Being a lifelong learner and diligent student, I find it fascinating how software can significantly enhance the user experience and contribute to the overall efficiency of teams, projects, and companies. For this reason, I wanted to develop a software career in a new environment. I decided to take on a new challenge and study software in Canada. Recently I completed improvement of the trailer vendor's business website and highlighting my mathematics professor's portfolio webpage. My expertise in mathematics, and leadership and intrapersonal skills have been honed and awarded recognition. I have received the Student Leader Award for my dedication as a Math Tutor at Mohawk College.
