My experience in the biomedical research field has taught me the critical importance of approaching datasets with specific questions to uncover actionable insights and achieve real results. I am now pivoting my expertise to data analytics, bringing a strong foundation in Python, R, SQL, and Bash. My research experience includes combining whole exome and RNA sequencing analysis to characterize the mutational landscape and immunogenicity of a novel melanoma cell line, and utilizing single-cell RNA sequencing to characterize population-specific transcriptional changes in T cells following drug treatment. I'm adept at data visualization, utilizing matplotlib and ggplot2 to create compelling plots and graphics for academic publication. I'm eager to apply my analytical mindset and technical skills to new challenges in the data analytics field.
