I am an assistant professor in biomedical engineering and biomedical physics. I develop new magnetic resonance based techniques and post-processing AI algorithms that permit a deeper understanding of fetal physiology, maternal-fetal interaction, early-life growth, and lifestyle determinants of health. My aim is to uncover new information and facilitate its translation to real practice. I believe that disseminating new research findings by engaging the scientific community and general public in a discussion will help refine medical guidelines, improve health care, and empower patients to take an active role in their healthy future.
