About Dafydd Morris
I started in the wine trade purely by accident. My father suffered a life threatening injury which meant I had to come from University to help out with the family business. I quickly realised I enjoyed the job and it wasn’t long before I was experiencing my first wine trip to the Champagne region.(Canard Duchene, Veuve Clicquot and Krug was not a bad start!) This was the first of many trips to wineries around the World. In the 26 years I have been a Wine Merchant I have been lucky enough to visit approximately 500 different wineries. Meeting so many different passionate people in this industry has given me a great insight and understanding into the wine business. I hope my passion and knowledge comes across in everything I do. Now a Director of Cheers Wine Merchants, Director of Mor Ladron Spirits and co-creator of Gwyr Welsh Single Malt Welsh Whisky.
