Current AU military space & aviation regulator. Scientist specialises in the development of novel, unique, complex & world-leading quantitative laser-optical techs, incl. both Hardware (HW) & Software (SW). During Ph.D: • Developed the world's most advanced laser-optical techs (i.e. Two-Line Atomic Fluorescence (TLAF) & Laser-Induced Incandescence (LII)) for 2D, non-intrusive, in-situ, instantaneous (~30ns) & simultaneous flame temperature soot volume fraction (several parts per million) & primary soot particle size (5-100nm) measurements in challenging combustion environments • Published 11 research papers in world-leading journals w/ 366 citations • Delivered 7 presentations at world-leading conferences, e.g. invited speaker @ Gordon Research Seminar (USA) • Ph.D. trained at a global top 5 laser-optical lab (only AU lab) Strong interest in novel AI- & advanced sensor-enabled techs that involve sensor & data fusion, multi-object detection & tracking, complex behavior assessment. • Developed a novel bioacoustics AI technique for wildlife preservation.
