About Dai Kimura

At Panasonic Automotive Systems Company, I was engaged in design technology for audio development for car manufacturers for about 10 years after joining the company. • From 2008 to 2015, I was assigned to Germany, where I worked on car audio development for a European car manufacturer. As the head of the engineerin organization, I reformed the organization and managed the performance of team members by developing performance and improving communication. • From 2015 to 2019, I was assigned to the UK, where I led the organization as the engineering head while launching new customers in the UK and building a technical team. • After returning to Japan, as a technical manager of new business and new order activities, I plan strategies for order activities, promote collaboration with other companies, and promote new businesses. • At the same time, set up global development as a technical oversight for US OEMs, collaborate with related departments in Japan and the US to create strategies, negotiation proposals and materials for customer negotiations, and report to Japanese and local management. • I have cultivated my interpersonal skills through my experience interacting with people from various backgrounds and cultures in my previous work. • Voluntary action and teamwork ability • Problem-solving ability and excellent information-gathering ability • Ability to organize as an organization with a global mindset • It is possible to organize a technical team from scratch. • It is possible to promote new business development. • I would like to become a bridge management between Japan and Europe and the United States, and challenge myself and the company to grow, regardless of the automotive business. • Localized and successfully implemented global development programs in Japan.
