About Daire Cooney

I am a young motivated engineer who is currently working in Mastercard in an infrastructure engineering role. I have aided in critical projects to do with microsegmentation aswell as build brand new applications in the Mastercard network. I was on an internship with Mastercard for 4 months previously in an Internet operations engineer role. I worked on troubleshooting critical issues by URL tracing, checking F5 configs and checking VM logs also. I have software experience with YAML, Linux and TMSH with Mastercard and in college I have studied MATLAB and Java extensively aswell as being exposed to Linux, C++, C#, HDL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. I am also undertaking a mentoring role in given knowledge transfer sessions to our new interns whole also having a new graduate assigned to me to train up in regards to the policies and processes we have in our team. I have led my own team in a high visibility NaaS effort.
