About Daisuke Hashimoto

At the forefront of AI innovation at Woven by Toyota and Toyota Motor Corporation, my focus has been on ML Application Development for both AD/ADAS and Woven City, as well as on accelerating ML development and operations through Large Language Models (LLMs), AI SDKs and MLOps solutions. These pivotal role have enabled me to drive significant impact by, 1) launching new AI-powered applications from incept to launch, delivering innovative value to customers, and 2) building end-to-end MLOps solutions that are crucial for the rapid deployment of advanced mobility services. I serve in these projects as both a tech lead and a hands-on developer, with strong capabilities in leading cross-functional and cross-regional ML and software engineering efforts. My experience spans full-stack development in machine learning/neural networks (9+ years), C/C++(10+years), Python (10+ years), AD/ADAS (6 years), MLOps (4+ years), embedded software (10+ years), JAVA (3 years), agile development (8 years), and semiconductor memory design (4 years). With the strong technology background in R&D and product development, I have continuously contributed to bringing innovative values to our company products, proved with 91 granted US patents as 1st inventor, 6 papers as a co-author and 7 awarded prizes.
