About Daisuke Nezu

Senior Business Executive at Sony with 20+ years of experience leading consumer electronics development, product strategy, and global business operations. Since joining Sony in 2005, I have held key leadership roles across product design, engineering, marketing, and business management for TVs, home audio, and video products. From launching LCD TVs across global factories (Mexico, Brazil, Korea, China, Malaysia, Spain, Slovakia) to shaping mid- to long-term product strategies and leading multi-disciplinary teams, I have delivered innovation and business growth. My international experience includes a secondment to Sony Europe for product marketing. As General Manager since 2023, I have overseen the global home audio and video business, driving profitability with strategic transformation and expanding responsibilities to cover the B2C TV business as global business head of home product division(total revenue of approx. ¥600 billion). In 2024, I doubled operating profit while maintaining robust revenue for home AV business. Since 2024, I also support SME business turnarounds as a part-time management consultant.
